Patrollers were in the area of East Fifth Avenue and Summit Street when they reported hearing a loud crash. The patrollers investigated the situation and reported that three vehicles had been involved in an auto accident. Patrollers advised CPD of the situation via 911. Patrollers provided descriptions of the vehicles involved. Patrollers advised that one of the drivers was out of his vehicle and was possibly intoxcated. Columbus Fire Department Engine 7 responded to the scene. CPD Car 9041 responded to the scene. Car 9041 was provided Ring camera footage from one of the residents in the area. Medic 7 assessed the the drivers and passengers involved in the accident. No injuries were reported. Medic 7 left the scene. Car 9041 spoke with the possibly intoxicated driver. Car 9041 placed the driver under arrest and his vehicle was impounded. The drivers of the other two vehilces were advised they could leave the scene. One of the vehicles was able to drive away from the scene, while the other required a tow truck. The patrollers cleared the scene.

Patrollers were in the area of Dana and State when they reported hearing approximately six to seven gunshots; CPD was notified of the situation via 645-4545. Patrollers reported two suspicious males that were in proximity of the shots. CPD Car 9192 responded to the scene and met with the patrollers. The patrollers provided the descriptions of the males. Car 9192 investigated the situation, returned to the patrollers, and advised that no weapons were found on the males. No further action was taken.
