Patrollers monitored two males arguing in the area of 14th and Pearl. CPD was contacted
by a bystander. CPD and OSU officers responded to the scene. All individuals involved
left the area. No further action was needed.

Call of the Month

Patrollers reported seeing three shots fired near a large crowd in the area of 13th and Pearl. Patrollers made a quick check of the area for victims and heard four more shots fired. Numerous CPD units responded to the area. The patrollers heard one more shot as they left the area for safety. CPD Car 235 later informed the patrollers that the shooter had been taken into custody. The patrollers completed a report.

Patrollers came across two females having a loud argument in front of 4 E. 13th Avenue. The patrollers were able to diffuse the situation. No further action was needed.

Patrollers reported a fight involving two females in the area of 14th and Pearl. One of the females was knocked to the ground and the crowd dispersed. The patrollers approached the female and conducted a well-being check. The female denied any police or medical attention. No further action was taken.

Patrollers conducted a well-being check on a motorist in the area of 12th and Indianola. The motorist advised their vehicle had run out of gas. The patrollers assisted the motorist in pushing the vehicle to a safer location.

Patrollers reported an argument involving three males in the area of 13th and High. Patrollers advised that one of the males involved in the arguing was punched in the head. The other two males left the area. The male who was punched denied any medical or police attention.

Patrollers conducted a well-being check on a male in front of 2169 N. High. The patrollers advised that the male was lying in the grass. The male advised that he did not want any medical attention. The patrollers attempted to contact a cab for the male. The cab company advised that they did not have any vehicles in that area and were unable to send one at this time. Patrollers then reported that the male had become unresponsive. CPD was notified of the situation via 645-4545. CPD Car R-41 responded to the scene, awoke the male, and contacted an Uber. The Uber arrived on the scene and no further action was needed.

Columbus Fire Department Medic 10 responded to the scene. CFD Medic 10 advised that the male was treated and released from Mount Carmel Hospital earlier in the day. The male became belligerent with medics. Medics denied him any further care and cleared the scene. No further action was taken.

Patrollers were approached by a male in the area of Broad and Souder who was threatening suicide; the patrollers contacted CPD via 645-4545. The patrollers were advised that a medic was on the way. CPD Car 9080 responded to the scene and transported the male to Netcare. The CFD Medics were cancelled. No further action was needed.
