Patrollers witnessed a vehicle strike two parked vehicles in the area of 157 E. 12th Avenue. The patrollers advised that the suspect vehicle exchanged insurance information with one of the victims. The other victim was a left a note from the suspect driver. The suspect’s vehicle was towed from the area. No further action was needed.

6-10-22

Patrollers were approached by a male with a bloody lip in front of 1758 N. High. The
patrollers were able to stop a passing Special Duty CPD Officer. The victim spoke with the
officer about the incident. No further action was taken.

6-17-22

Patrollers reported hearing several shots in the area of 13th and Summit; CPD was notified of the situation via 645-4545. The patrollers located some shell casings and damage to a parked vehicle in the area. CPD Car R-42 responded to the scene and met with the patrollers. Car R-42 advised the patrollers to clear the scene. No further action was taken.

Patrollers reported a fight involving two males in front of 1726 N. High. The patrollers
advised that the fighting ceased. The patrollers advised the two males to get out of the
middle of the roadway. The males complied and left the area in separate directions. No
further action was needed.

of the situation via 645-4545. The patrollers got a visual on the five juveniles in the area
of Broad and Yale. Before the arrival of police, the patrollers lost visual contact on the
males in the area of Cable and Princeton. CPD Car 83 responded to the area and
conducted a search of the surrounding streets. The juveniles were never located. No
further action could be taken.

Call of the Month

Patroller was approached by a pedestrian requesting medical assistance for his son who
was having an asthma attack. Patroller advised CPD cruiser X-3, who then contacted the
Columbus Fire Department. At approximately 5:05 pm CFD Engine 3 arrived on scene and began treating the victim. At approximately 5:08 pm CFD Medic 14 arrived on scene and also began treating the victim. At approximately 5:22 pm Medic 14 transported the
individual to Nationwide Children's Hospital. At approximately 5:24 pm CFD Engine
3, CPD cruiser X-3, and the patroller cleared the scene.
