Patrollers were approached by a resident in Weinland Park who advised of a missing juvenile. Patrollers were given a photo of the missing juvenile. The patrollers took note of the last known location of the juvenile and advised they will be on the lookout.

Call of the Month

Patrollers heard the sound of an auto accident in the area of 14th and High. The patrollers investigated, located the accident, and notified CPD of the situation via 645-4545. CPD Car R-44 responded to the scene and took and an accident report.

5-17-19

Patrollers came across a possibly intoxicated male in front of 1525 N. High. The patrollers contacted Net Care at the individual’s request. While awaiting the arrival of Net Care, the male began to leave the area. The patrollers advised that the male began acting belligerently and had to be escorted off a business’s property after touching a random customer’s food. The patrollers contacted Net Care again to advise of new location. At that point Net Care advised they would not respond because the caller is not stationary. The male was advised and no further action was taken.

5-23-19

Patrollers reported a shirtless male acting belligerently in the area of 11th and High. The patrollers advised that the male was flailing his arms and yelling. The male began walking in traffic. The patrollers contacted CPD via 645-4545. While awaiting the arrival of police, patrollers came across a Special Duty officer. The advised the officer of the situation as well. CPD Car 42 responded to the scene and were able to calm the male. No further action was needed.

The patrollers advised CPD of the situation as well, via 645-4545. While awaiting the arrival of police, the male left the business and began walking throughout the surrounding area. The merchant advised that the male left a bag at the business. The patrollers advised that the male is now at the corner of Rodgers and Broad yelling at passersby. CPD Car R-72 was passing through the area. The patrollers waved down Car R-72 and advised him of the situation. Car R-72 detained the male and took him back to the business at Dakota and Broad. The merchant officially made the male a criminal trespasser of the business. No further action was taken as there were no victims available or willing to press charges.

Patrollers came across a possibly intoxicated male in the area of Dakota and Broad. The patrollers advised that the male seemed extremely disoriented and was trying to get to Westerville. The patrollers talked the male out of driving and helped him contact Lyft. The male left in a Lyft vehicle. No further action was needed.

Patrollers were approached by a resident in front of 1673 S. Fourth. The resident advised that there was a suspicious male sleeping in her backyard. The patrollers awoke the male and advised him to leave the area. The male complied and no further action was needed.

Patrollers advised that the male was loitering in the area of Kroger at 1745 Morse. The patrollers advised CPD via 645-4545 and also Kroger security. The male left the area and entered Taco Bell at 1717 Morse. Patrollers advised that the male exited the Taco Bell and was loitering in the parking lot. The patrollers advised that the male was rocking back and forth in the fetal position. The male then got up and made his way to Tamarack and Morse. CPD Car 184 arrived on the scene. The individual was known to Car 184 and he drove him to his residence. No further action was needed.
