Patrollers came across a female in need of medical attention in front of 1450 W. Broad. The female advised that she was having health issues related to her diabetes. The patrollers contacted the Columbus Fire Department. CFD Medic 25 responded to the scene and transported the female to Mount Carmel Hospital West.
Patrollers reported witnessing a U-Haul truck strike a COTA Bus and leave the scene in the area of Grubb and Broad. CPD was notified of the situation via 645-4545. CPD Car 163 and Columbus Fire Department Medic 1 responded to the scene. CFD Medic 1 treated the driver of the bus and a passenger for minor injuries and Car 163 took an auto accident report.
