Patrollers were approached by possibly intoxicated male in the area of High and Clark who advised that he was assaulted. Columbus Fire Department Medic 7 and CPD Wagon 48 responded to the scene. Wagon 48 advised the patrollers to clear the scene. The patrollers complied.

Patrollers were in the area of Fourth and Chittenden when they reported an auto accident involving two vehicles. CPD was notified of the situation via 645-4545. CPD Car 43 responded to the scene. One of the drivers was issued a citation. No further action was taken.

Patrollers reported an open structure with a broken door smeared with blood one house east of 52 E. 15th Avenue. CPD was notified of the situation via 645-4545. CPD Car 48 and Columbus Fire Department Medic 7 responded to the scene. No one was located on the property or within the premises. No further action was taken.

Patrollers were approached by an individual in front of 1584 Summit, who had just been struck by a vehicle. The suspect flagged down CPD Car R-191 who was in the area. CPD Car 44 and Columbus Fire Department Medic 7 responded to the scene. The victim was transported to the Ohio State University Hospital. Responding officer took a statement from the patrollers.

Patrollers were approached by a male in the area of 11th and Highland who had badly injured his finger. Patrollers contacted 645-4545. Columbus Fire Department Medic 7 responded to the scene and transported the male to Ohio State University Hospital.

5-26-14

Patrollers were approached by a male in front of 1972 N. High who advised that he had just been robbed. CPD Car 41 responded to the scene and obtained the description of the suspect. The suspect was never located.

Patrollers reported a possibly intoxicated male in front of 4 E. 13th Avenue who was having issues caring for his well-being. CPD was notified of the situation via 645-4545. Columbus Fire Department Medic 24 and 7 responded to the scene. CPD Car R-40 responded to the area. Medic 7 transported the male to The Ohio State University Hospital.

Patrollers reported a fight involving two males in the area of 13th and High. CPD was notified of the situation via 911. CPD Cars 9041 and R-9040. Columbus Fire Department Medic 7 and EMS 13 responded to the scene. The responding medics treated the victim and the suspect was located and questioned by responding CPD officers.

Responding officers advised the patrollers that the male put the merchandise back. No charges will be filed because the male never left the store with the merchandise.

Call of the Month

Patrollers were in the area of Gift and Sullivant when they reported an auto accident involving two vehicles. The Columbus Fire Department Medic 10, Heavy Rescue 47, Engine 10 responding to the scene. CPD Cars 82, 9070, and 84 responded to the scene. Car 82 found illegal narcotics on one of the occupants. That individual was placed under arrest. The CPD OVI Specialist responded to the scene. One of the passengers was transported to Mount Carmel Hospital.

Patrollers were approached by a male in the area of Dakota and Broad who requested medical attention due to his hip replacement popping out. CPD was notified of the situation via 645-4545. Columbus Fire Department Engine 10 and Medic 17 responded to the scene. Medic 17 transported the male to Mount Carmel Hospital.

CPD was notified of the situation via 645-4545. CPD Car 112 responded to the area of Kossuth and High and stopped the individuals. A field interview was conducted. No further action was taken.
