Patrollers reported a trash fire in front of 165 E. 15th Avenue. The patrollers contacted the Columbus Fire Department via 911. CPD Cars 44 and 48 responded to the scene. CFD Engine 7 responded and extinguished the fire.

Patrollers reported a fight involving a bartender and a patron in front of 1571 N. Fourth. The patrollers contacted CPD via 911. CPD Cars 9040, 40, 44, and 41 responded to the scene and difused the situation. No further action was taken.

Patrollers reported an altercation involving a male and a female in the area of 9th and High. CPD was notified of the situation via 645-4545. Before the arrival of police, the male left the area. The patrollers met with responding CPD officers and updated them with the details of the situation. No further action was taken.

Patrollers reported an auto accident involving two vehicles in the area of 15th and Fourth. CPD Cars 43 and 40 responded to the area. An auto accident report was taken.

Patrollers reported a possibly intoxicated individual operating a motor vehicle in the area of 13th and Pearl. CPD Car 44 was notified of the vehicle’s description and last known direction of travel. No further action was taken.

Call of the Month

Patrollers were approached by a pedestrian in the area of Broad and Hawkes who advised of a suicide attempt. The pedestrian advised that patrollers that the male had ingested a possibly lethal amount of medication. The Columbus Fire Department was notified of the situation and CFD Medic 10 and CPD Car 9082 responded to the scene. The male was transported to Mount Carmel West.

Patrollers were in the area of Broad and Chase when they witnessed a loud argument involving a male and a female. The patrollers witnessed the male punch the female. CPD was notified of the situation via 645-4545. The male left the area. CPD Wagon 198 arrived on the scene and talked with the female. The male was never located. No further action was taken.

Patrollers reported a suspicious individual loitering and attempting to open car doors in the area of Broad and Skidmore. CPD was notified of the situation. CPD Car 150 responded to the area. Upon seeing Car 150, the individual fled the area. Car 150 gave pursuit. No further action was taken.

Patrollers reported a suspicious individual checking car doors in the area of Deshler and Washington. CPD was notified of the situation via 645-4545. The suspicious individual left the patrol area. No further action was taken.

Patrollers reported an argument involving several individuals in the area of Hanford and Parsons. CPD was notified of the situation via 645-4545. CPD Cars 9111, 9114 and 9115 responded to the area and diffused the situation. No further action was taken.

Patrollers reported an unresponsive male in the area of Thurman and Parsons. CPD was notified of the situation via 645-4545. CPD Car 113 responded to the scene and awoke the male. The male left the area and no further action was needed.

Patrollers were approached by a resident in the area of Shanley and Kenfield who advised of a missing juvenile. The patrollers took note of the juvenile’s description and last known location. The resident advised that they had already filed a report with CPD.

Patrollers reported witnessing a theft at a business at 1953 Morse. Patrollers reported that the individual left the business with a 12-pack of beer. CPD was notified of the situation via 645-4545. CPD Cars 184 and 185 responded to the scene. A theft report was taken; a visual on the suspect was never regained.
