Patrollers reported a fight in progress involving two males in front of 1716 N. High. CPD was notified and the patrollers attempted to stop the fight. CPD Cars 43 and 41 responded to the scene. One of the males was arrested for underage consumption of alcohol.

Patrollers were in the area of 10th and High when they reported hearing the sounds of a car accident. Upon investigation, the patrollers discovered that two vehicles had struck one another. CPD was notified vis 645-4545. CPD Car 40 responded to the scene and cited the at-fault driver.

Patrollers reported the odor of natural gas in front of 203 S. Yale. The patrollers were advised by neighbors that a senior citizen resided within that address, and had not been seen in several days. CPD was notified of the situation via 911. Columbus Fire Department Engine 10, Ladder 10, Ladder 2, and Heavy Rescue 17 responded to the scene. The patrollers were told to clear the area.

Patrollers reported a suspicious individual who set off a car alarm in the area of Avondale and State. CPD Car 9081 was notified of the situation. The patrollers monitored the individual as he fled the area. The patrollers gave the last known location of the suspicious individual. No further action was taken.

Patrollers reported an aggressive pan handler in front of 2800 Sullivant. CPD was notified of the situation via 645-4545. CPD Car 7312 responded to the area and advised the pan handler to leave the area. The pan handler complied. No further action was taken.

2-28-14

Patrollers reported a structure fire in the area of Parkside and Westgate. The Columbus Fire Department was notified of the situation. CFD Engine 12 responded to the scene and extinguished the fire.
