Patrollers reported a fight in the area of 13th and High; CPD was notified of the situation via 645-4545. CPD Car 35 responded to the scene. The individuals left the area and no further action was taken.

Patrollers reported a fight involving a large group of males in the area of 12th and High. One of the males pulled a handgun out of his vehicle. CPD was notified of the situation via 911. CPD walkie crew, Car 34, Car 31, Car 41, and Car 42 responded to the scene. Responding officers diffused the situation and no further action was taken.

Patrollers came across the scene of a recent accident at 7th and Fourth. CPD was notified via 645-4545. CPD Car 41 responded to the scene and took an accident report.

Patrollers reported a fight in progress involving two males in front of 1716 N. High. CPD was notified and the patrollers attempted to stop the fight. CPD Cars 43 and 41 responded to the scene. One of the males was arrested for underage consumption of alcohol.

Patrollers were in the area of 10th and High when they reported hearing the sounds of a car accident. Upon investigation, the patrollers discovered that two vehicles had struck one another. CPD was notified vis 645-4545. CPD Car 40 responded to the scene and cited the at-fault driver.

One of the CCP patrollers had his vehicle broken into in front of 89 Avondale. CPD was notified of the situation via 645-4545. CPD Car 9080 responded to the scene. A theft report was taken.

Patrollers reported an open structure at 678 Cypress. CPD was notified via 645-4545. CPD Car 9101 responded to the scene and searched the property. No one was located on the premises. No further action was taken.

Call of the Month

Patrollers reported the odor of natural gas in front of 203 S. Yale. The patrollers were advised by neighbors that a senior citizen resided within that address, and had not been seen in several days. CPD was notified of the situation via 911. Columbus Fire Department Engine 10, Ladder 10, Ladder 2, and Heavy Rescue 17 responded to the scene. The patrollers were told to clear the area.

Patrollers reported a suspicious individual who set off a car alarm in the area of Avondale and State. CPD Car 9081 was notified of the situation. The patrollers monitored the individual as he fled the area. The patrollers gave the last known location of the suspicious individual. No further action was taken.

Patrollers reported an aggressive pan handler in front of 2800 Sullivant. CPD was notified of the situation via 645-4545. CPD Car 7312 responded to the area and advised the pan handler to leave the area. The pan handler complied. No further action was taken.

Patrollers reported a structure fire in the area of Parkside and Westgate. The Columbus Fire Department was notified of the situation. CFD Engine 12 responded to the scene and extinguished the fire.

Patrollers reported that the CCP office located at 225 E. Gates had been broken into. Numerous items had been stolen. CPD was notified of the situation via 645-4545. CPD Car 113 responded to the scene. A theft report was taken.

Patrollers reported an abandoned structure with a broken screen door and mail piling up at 195 E. Gates. CPD was notified of the situation via 645-4545. CPD advised the patrollers that the resident had died a short time ago. No further action was taken.

Patrollers reported an audible alarm coming from 3670 Karl. CPD was notified of the situation via 645-4545. The patrollers reported that the side door appeared to be open. CPD Cars 9021 and 21 responded to the scene. Cars 9021 and 21 searched the property and found no one on the premises. No further action was taken.
