Patrollers were in the rear of 87 N. Central when they heard screaming. CPD was notified of the situation via 645-4545. CPD Cars 80 and R-80 responded to the area and talked with the individuals involved. No further action was taken.

Patrollers assisted a merchant in the area of Dakota and Broad with escorting a belligerent individual off store property in the area of Dakota and Broad.

Patrollers reported a fight involving two individuals in the area of Glenwood and Sullivant. CPD was notified of the situation via 645-4545. Before the arrival of police, the individuals left the area in separate directions. No further action was taken.

Patrollers were approached by a female in the area of State and Dakota who advised that her boyfriend stole her car. CPD was notified of the situation. A short time later, the boyfriend returned home with the vehicle. CPD Cars R-81 and 80 responded to the scene and talked with the boyfriend. No charges were pressed and the boyfriend left on a bicycle.

Patrollers were in the area of Hawkes and Sullivant when they came across an unresponsive male. CPD was notified of the situation via 645-4545. Columbus Fire Department Medic 10 and CPD Car 193 responded to the scene. Medic 10 and Car 193 cared for the individual. Car 193 transported the male to a relatives residence. No further action was taken.

Call of the Month

Patrollers witnessed a male enter a structure via a window at 1570 S. High. CPD was notified of the situation via 645-45454. CPD Cars 138, 133, R-130, 648, 135, and 134 responded to the scene. The suspect was located inside the structure and taken into custody by Car 133. A large marijuana grow operation was discovered inside the residence. Narcotics detectives were contacted by responding CPD officers. The individual was placed under arrest for possession of illegal narcotics.
