Call of the Month
Patrollers reported a female yelling for help as she was being pulled inside a house on Grubb by a male. CPD was notified via 645-4545. While awaiting the arrival of police, the patrollers reported hearing a loud argument inside the residence. The female exited the residence and CPD Cars 81, 80, and 82 responded to the scene. CPD Car 81 entered the residence and detained the male. The male was placed under arrest for domestic violence.
Patrollers witnessed a male fire approximately six shots from a handgun into a residence in the area of Oakley and Palmetto. The patrollers advised CPD Car 9081 of the suituation. CPD Cars 190, 9191, and 192 responded to the scene. Responding officers talked with the patrollers and a resident who also witnessed the situation. There were no injuries and the male was never located. No further action was taken.
Patrollers were approached by a male in the area of Yale and Broad, who advised that his cell phone had been stolen. The male requested a CPD officer come to the scene and take a report. CPD Car 9081 was notified of the situation, responded to the scene, and took a theft report.
