Patrollers were approached by a female in the area of Dakota and Campbell, who advised the patrollers that she was denied the right to retrieve personal items from 850 Campbell. CPD was contacted via 645-4545. While awaiting the arrival of police, the patrollers were approached by the other party who advised that she was kicked in the stomach by the female. She further advised that she was pregnant and requested medical attention. CPD was re-contacted and updated on the situation. The first female to approach the patrollers left the area in a vehicle and advised she would return in the morning. CPD Cars 80, 82, 83 and CFD Medic 8 responded to the scene. Responding officers talked with the female who denied medical attention and did not want to press charges.
Patrollers reported two juveniles throwing rocks at a residence in the area of Grace and Burgess. While monitoring the situation, one of the patrollers was struck in the face by a rock thrown by one of the juveniles. CPD was notified of the situation via 645-4545. While awaiting the arrival of police, the juveniles entered 131 N. Burgess. CPD Cars 192 and 191 responded to the scene, and an assault report was taken.
Patrollers reported a bush on fire in the area of Cypress and Town. The Columbus Fire Department was notified. CFD Engine 17 responded to the scene and extinguished the fire.

The CCP Trail & Parks Safety Program patrols the Columbus Recreation and Parks’ multi-use trail along the Olentangy River, as well as several of the City’s parks. Patrollers are out on the trail on mountain bikes five days a week (weather permitting) in order to provide an added measure of safety to bikers, walkers, joggers, etc., and to assist with any problems trail users might experience, such as flat tires, injuries, etc. During the month of September, CCP patrollers provided 276 patrol hours on the trails and in the parks; year-to-date total: 1,504.0.
