The individual became belligerent with the patrollers and CPD was contacted via 645-4545. CPD Car 41 responded to the scene and, seeing that the individual was on OSU property, he notified the OSU police of the situation. OSU Car 9 responded to the scene and approached the individual. OSU Car 9 escorted the individual to the OSU Hospital. No further action was taken.
Patrollers reported a suspicious individual jumping on the roof of a vehicle in the area of Duncan and East. The individual caused damage to the vehicle and then left the area with two other individuals. The patrollers notified Car 43 of the situation. CPD Cars 32, 42 and 36 responded to the scene. The officers were unable to contact the victim. Car 42 left information on the victim’s vehicle about what had occurred and how to file a police report. A criminal damaging report was taken.
Patrollers reported a suspicious individual aggressively panhandling in the area of Patterson and High. The individual attempted to grab the patrollers while aggressively asking for money. The patrollers left the immediate area, but continued to monitor the individual. They then witnessed the individual become aggressive with another individual in the area of Woodruff and High. CPD was notified via 645-4545. CPD Cars 42, R42, 43, 13 and Wagon 48 responded to the scene. The victim did not want to press charges on the suspect. One of the responding officers advised the patrollers they could press charges because of the suspect’s earlier aggressive actions towards them.
Patrollers reported an unresponsive individual in the area of 9th and High. CPD was notified via 645-4545. Columbus Fire Department Medic 7 responded to the scene. Medic 7 transported the individual to Net Care. No further action was needed.

CPD Cars 80, 84, and 83 responded to the scene. Responding officers conducted background checks on all three individuals. It was discovered that one of the individuals had an active warrant. The individual was placed under arrest and transported to the Franklin County Correctional Facility by Car 83.
Patrollers reported a robbery in progress in the area of Dakota and Broad. CPD Car 8L2 was notified of the situation. The patrollers provided Car 8L2 with a description of the suspect and his last known direction of travel. The patrollers waited with the victim, who requested medical attention. The victim stated that the suspect had struck him several times with a stick. Medic 1 and 10 responded to the scene. CPD Cars 80 and 81 responded to the scene. Medic 1 transported the victim to Mount Carmel Hospital and Car 81 took a theft and assault report.
Patrollers reported a suspicious vehicle with a damaged window and a key in the ignition in front of an address on Town. CPD Car 8L2 was notified. CPD Car 87 responded to the scene and ran a check on the vehicle’s license plate. Car 87 advised the patrollers that the vehicle was reported stolen. Car 87 contacted the owner of the vehicle, who advised that he would like the vehicle impounded. The vehicle was impounded, and the patrollers cleared the scene having recovered a stolen vehicle.
Patrollers reported a suspicious vehicle with a damaged steering column and passenger door in the rear of an address on Midland. CPD Car 8L1 was notified. Car 8L1 ran a check on the vehicle’s license plate and reported that the vehicle was reported stolen. CPD Car R-89 responded to the scene and began the impounding process. The patrollers cleared the scene having recovered a stolen vehicle.
Patrollers reported a suspicious vehicle with a damaged steering column and locks in front of an address on Town. CPD was notified via 645-4545. A CPD radio technician ran a check on the vehicle’s license plate and reported that the registration came back to another vehicle. CPD Car 81 responded to the scene and ran a check on the vehicle’s identification number.Car 81 placed a ticket on the vehicle for expired registration. No further action was taken.
