Community Crime Patrol Observe to Protect

Patrollers reported seven individuals destroying fire extinguisher mounts in the area of Green and Broad. CPD was notified of the situation via 645-4545. CPD Radio Operator advised that CPD units have been notified and advised the patrollers not to follow the individuals as they left the area. The patrollers provided descriptions and last known direction of the group. The patrollers cleared the scene as advised by CPD.

Patrollers monitored an argument involving three females in the area of Thomas and Souder. The patrollers advised that one female was banging on the door of the another female’s vehicle. Patrollers advised that the female returned to her vehicle. All individuals left the area without any further incident.

Call of the Month

Patrollers were approached by a male in the area of Sullivant & Glenwood. The male was complaining of jaw pain and requesting either a medic or Netcare. Netcare was contacted and advised of the situation. The patrollers escorted the male to the Netcare Crisis Center on Central Avenue. Net Care took the male in and no further action was needed.

Patrollers came across an unresponsive female bent over a walker in front of 3351 E. Main. The patrollers advised the female had drool and vomit coming from her mouth. The patrollers asked the female if she needed any medical attention. The female was unable to respond. The patrollers contacted 645-4545 and advised CPD of the situation. Columbus Fire Department Engine 21 responded to the scene. The medic approached the female. The female denied any medical attention and left the area. No further action was taken.
