Patrollers monitored a belligerent female yelling at passersby as well as the patrollers in front of 1728 N. High. The patrollers advised that the female left the area without any further incident.

Patrollers reported a belligerent male arguing with a bouncer in front of 19 N. Pearl. The patrollers advised that the male moved to the area of 13th and Pearl. The patrollers advised that a large group of individuals has now gathered and are arguing with one another. CPD was notified of the situation via 645-4545. Before the arrival of police, the arguing ceased and the all involved left without further incident. No further action was needed.

Patrollers monitored a belligerent male yelling at passersby in the area of 14th and High. The patrollers advised that the male entered a vehicle and left the area. No further action could be taken.

Call of the Month

Patrollers reported a fight involving several individuals in the area of 13th and High. CPD was notified of the situation via 911. The patrollers also waved down CPD Walkie Crew officers and advised them of the situation. CPD Cars 230 and 231 arrived on the scene. The patrollers and the responding officers searched for a male who knocked another male unconscious. The patrollers located a male, in the area of 13th and High, who was possibly involved in the altercation and was yelling at passersby and the patrollers. CPD Cars S-23, 48, 43, 42, 656, 232 and the CPD Walkie arrived on the scene. The patrollers advised that responding officers had diffused all arguments and fighting. No further action was taken as all involved left in separate directions.

Patrollers reported two suspicious males loitering between buildings in an alley in the rear of 129 E. 7th Avenue. The patrollers advised that when the males saw the patrollers they quickly left the area. CPD was notified of the situation via 645-4545. The patrollers provided the CPD radio room of the males’ descriptions and last direction of travel. The patrollers also met with CPD Car 44 and advised of the suspicious males. No further action could be taken.

Patrollers came across an auto accident involving two vehicles in the area of 5th and Summit; the patrollers contacted CPD via 645-4545. The CPD radio operator advised that due to new protocols, CPD no longer responds to accidents in which only property damage has occurred. The CPD radio operator advised that both parties involved in the accident should exchange information and leave the area. The patrollers advised the drivers of the new protocol. Both drivers exchanged information and left the area. No further action was taken.

Patrollers monitored two males arguing and fighting in the area of 14th and High. The patrollers advised that the arguing and fighting ceased and both males left the area in separate directions. No further action needed.

Patrollers monitored a possibly intoxicated male yelling at passersby in front of 1510 N. High. The patrollers reported that the male vomited several times. The patrollers advised that the male calmed down and left the area. No further action was taken.

Patrollers reported an argument between two females in the area of 13th and Pearl. The patrollers advised that a male came on the scene and struck one of the females. The male then left the area. The patrollers, at the request of the female who had been struck, advised a special duty CPD officer who was in the area. The CPD officer advised the patrollers that the female will be filing a report in the morning. No further action was taken.

Patrollers monitored an argument between a male and female in the area of 12th and High. Patrollers advised that as the individuals made their way southbound through the area, the female struck the male several times. The patrollers advised that the male was never seen striking back. The patrollers contacted CPD via 645-4545 and advised them of the situation. CPD Cars 656, 231, 41 and 42 arrived on the scene. Responding officers diffused the situation and took the individuals to their separate homes. No further action was taken.

Patrollers were approached by a male in the area of 13th and Indianola who advised that he had been slapped by another male who then fled the area. The patrollers took note of the suspect’s description and last known direction of travel.
