The CCP radio operator received a phone call from a student living in the area of 242 E. 18th Avenue. The student advised they were in distress. The patrollers were advised and headed to the area. The patrollers arrived in the area, spoke with several individuals, but the person who made the call was never located. No further action could be taken.

Patrollers reported a fight involving approximately 6 individuals in the rear of 262 E. 18th Avenue. Ohio State University Safety Service advised the patrollers that they have already contacted CPD. CPD Cars 40, 42, 30, 656 arrived on scene. Columbus Fire Department Medic 7 responded to the scene. Medic 7 attended to the victims. The patrollers took a report on the incident.

The CCP radio operator received a phone call from Ohio State University Police about a female in need of an escort. The patrollers were advised of the situation and headed towards 11th and Indianola to meet the female. The patrollers met the female and an additional female, and escorted them to 1900 Cannon Drive. One of the females stayed at the location and the patrollers then escorted the other female to 80 W. 11th Avenue. No further action was needed.

Patrollers monitored four males causing disturbances in the area of 15th and Fourth. The patrollers advised that the males were talking with three females in the area. The males left the area and the patrollers met with the females to determine if the males were being threatening. The females advised that the four males had harassed them with comments earlier in the evening. The patrollers stood by to see if the males would return to the area. The patrollers advised that the males had left the area. No further action was needed.

Patrollers monitored an argument involving several males in front of 1832 Indianola. The patrollers advised that all involved left the area without incident. No further action was taken.

Patrollers monitored an argument between two males in the area of Chittenden and Summit. The patrollers advised that the males had stopped arguing and left the area. No further action was needed.

Patrollers monitored an individual causing a disturbance in the area of Euclid and High. The patrollers advised that the individual left the area without any further incident. No further action was needed.

Patrollers monitored two males arguing in the area of Smith and High. The patrollers advised that the males ceased arguing and went their separate ways. No further action was needed.

Patrollers reported two males arguing in the area of 13th and Pearl. The patrollers advised a special duty CPD officer of the situation. The CPD officer was unable to leave his post. The patrollers monitored the males as they moved throughout the area. Patrollers advised that both males had ceased arguing and leaving the area. A short time later, the patrollers monitored the males as they began arguing again. The patrollers advised that they entered a residence in the area of 16th and Waldeck. No further action was needed.

Call of the Month

Patrollers reported a running, unattended vehicle in the area of Duncan and Pearl. The patrollers advised they had to shift the vehicle into park as it was beginning to roll away. CPD was notified of the situation via 911. CPD Cars 30 and 34 responded to the scene and interviewed witnesses who saw the driver exit the vehicle and flee the scene. Officers also recovered a second license plate from the back seat of the vehicle. Charges are pending.

11-27-20

Patrollers reported a male on the ground, after having been struck by a vehicle in the area of Frambes and High. CPD was notified of the situation. CPD Car 9031, CPD Car 9041, OSU PD Car 43, and Columbus Fire Department Medic 7 responded to the scene. Medic 7 transported the male to the Ohio State University Hospital.

Patrollers monitored a large group of individuals arguing and hitting a vehicle in the area of 16th and Summit. A short time later the arguing ceased and all involved left the area. No further action was needed.
