Community Crime Patrol Observe to Protect

Patrollers reported a belligerent male kicking trash into the roadway and shining a flashlight into passing traffic in the area of Dakota and Sullivant; CPD was notified of the situation via 645-4545. CPD Cars 80, 83, 84, R-82, and 9102 responded to the scene. The male was placed under arrest for disorderly conduct. CPD Car 83 transported the male to Franklin County Jail.

Call of the Month

Patrollers reported several individuals fighting in the area of Avondale and Broad; CPD was notified of the situation via 645-4545. One of the individuals involved became ill; the Columbus Fire Department was notified of the situation. Columbus Fire Department Engine 10 responded to the scene. The individual was transported to Mount Carmel Hospital.

Patrollers were in the area of James and Main when they came across the victim of a hit and run; The patrollers contacted CPD via 645-4545. Columbus Fire Department Engine 21 responded to the scene and moved her vehicle out of the roadway. The patrollers took note of the suspect vehicle’s description and last known direction of travel. The victim advised that she will be filing a report at a later time.

Patrollers came across an unresponsive female in the area of James and Main; the Columbus Fire Department was notified of the situation. CPD Car 93 and CFD Medic 21 responded to the scene. Medic 21 transported the female to Mount Carmel East.
