Call of the Month

Patrollers were approached by a pedestrian in the area of Westpark and Sullivant. The pedestrian advised that a male was seen firing a gunshot into the air. The patrollers advised CPD of the situation via 645-4545. The patrollers took note of the individual’s description and last known location. The patrollers were advised that the male resides at an apartment in the area of Princeton and Sullivant. CPD Cars 9081, 9080, and 84 responded to the scene. CPD Car 9080 advised that since there were no witnesses, no action could be taken.

Patrollers were approached by a juvenile in the area of Westpark and Sullivant. The juvenile advised that he was stranded. After attempts to reach the juvenile’s parents failed, CPD Car 9080 responded to the area and drove the juvenile home. No further action was taken.

Patroller reported a group of juveniles causing a disturbance by the recreation center. CPD was notified via 645-4545. CPD Cars 19-1 and 19-4 were in the area. The patrollers waved them down and advised of the situation. The officers advised they were not going to chase the juveniles. A short time later, the juveniles left the area.
