Patrollers reported a suspicious individual imitating a police officer in front of 1712 N. High. CPD was notified of the situation via 645-4545. Before the arrival of police, the individual left the area. CPD was re-contacted and cancelled.

Patrollers reported an audible alarm coming from 2432 Broad. A CPD officer in an
unmarked car searched the area. The CPD helicopter also did a search of the area. No
one was located on the property. No further action was taken.

Patrollers reported a suspicious male loitering and in possible possession of a firearm in the area of Cypress and Capital. CPD was notified of the situation via 645-4545. Before the arrival of police, the individual left the area. The patrollers met with CPD Car 9190 and provided further information about the individual, including last known direction of travel.

Patrollers reported an abandoned structure with lights on at 328 S. Central. CPD was notified of the situation via 645-4545. CPD Car 9080 responded to the scene and searched the premises. Car 9080 advised that the structure was secured and no one was located on the property. Car 9080 will be reporting the incident to Code Enforcement.

Patrollers reported an abandoned structure with lights on at 303 Avondale. CPD was notified of the situation via 645-4545. CPD Cars 191, 190, 192, and the CPD helicopter responded to the scene. No one was located on the premises and CPD was unable to gain access via the first floor. No further action was taken.

Patrollers reported an audible alarm coming from a structure at Eureka and Broad. CPD Car 9081 was notified and responded to the scene. CPD Car 9081 searched the property. No one was located on the premises. No further action was taken.

Patrollers reported an open recreation center at 455 Parkside. CPD was notified of the situation via 645-4545. CPD Cars 194, 191, 190, and K-9 Unit 8 responded to the scene and searched the property. No one was located on the premises and no further action was taken.

Patrollers witnessed a male shoplift inside a business in the area of Dakota and Broad. CPD Car R-80 was notified, responded and conducted a field interview with the male. No further action was taken.

Patrollers reported an open door at 485 S. Front; CPD Car 113 was notified, responded, and searched the premises. No one was located on the property. No further action was needed.

Patrollers reported a trash fire in the rear of 1956 Ninth Street. The Columbus Fire Department was notified via 221-2345. CFD Engine 14 responded and extinguished the fire.

Patrollers located a mentally disturbed individual, in the area of Bucher and Reeb, of whom CPD advised them earlier in the shift. The patrollers escorted the individual to 1326 S. High. CPD Car 138 responded to the scene and completed the escort to 1826 S. Sixth Street. No further action was taken.

Patrollers were approached by a male in the area of Civic Center and Rich who advised that he had been involved in an altercation with CPD. During the altercation the male claimed that he was maced. The male requested an ambulance. CPD Wagon 168 was notified and responded to the scene. The male decided against medical treatment. No further action was taken.

Patrollers reported a suspicious male sleeping in a park in the area of Town and Civic Center. The individual refused to leave the park. CPD was notified of the situation via 645-4545. CPD Car 168 responded to the scene and conducted a background check on the male. The male was placed under arrest for outstanding warrants.
