CPD Cars 9192 and 89 responded to the scene. Responding officers approached the individual and determined it was, in fact, the wanted suspect. The patrollers completed witness statements for CPD, and the suspect was placed under arrest for being in possession of a handgun.

The female was released by responding emergency units; however, she was unable to leave the area under her own power. CPD Car 153 took the female into custody and she was transported to the Franklin County Correctional Facility.
