The two suspects fled the area, pushing and assaulting people as they ran away. CPD Cars R-40, 41 and Medic 7 responded to the scene. The victim was transported to OSU Medical Hospital. The suspects were never located.

Patrollers reported two suspicious individuals looking inside a CCP employee’s vehicle in front of 1091 W. Broad. The patrollers’ presence caused the individuals to leave the area. Later in the evening, the individuals were seen walking through the area, once again looking inside parked cars. Patrollers contacted CPD via 645-4545 and advised them of the situation. CPD Cars 81 and 88 responded to the scene. It was determined that both individuals had active warrants. Both individuals were placed under arrest.

9-27-19

Patrollers were approached by a female in the area of Stevens and Broad, who advised that she was assaulted and would like to press charges against the suspect. The patrollers contacted CPD via 645-4545 and handed the phone to the female. The patrollers advised that the details of her story changed several times as she explained them over the phone to the CPD radio operator. The female was advised that an officer was being dispatched to her location. The female advised that the male who assaulted her is known to carry a hand gun. While awaiting the arrival of police, the female advised that she has hypoglycemia and requested medical attention. Columbus Medic 890 responded to the scene. CPD Cars 83, 81, and 84 responded to the scene. The female denied medical attention and also changed her mind about filing a police report for the assault. A back ground check was conducted on the female. It was discovered that the female had an active warrant for parole violation. CPD Car 84 placed the female under arrest and transported her to Fairfield County Prison.

Call of the Month

Patrollers reported a female being dragged from the passenger-side door of a moving vehicle in the area of City Park and Redbud. The patrollers contacted emergency services via 911. CPD Cars 118, 111, 110, Columbus Fire Department ES-2, Chief 11, Engine 3, Hamilton Township Medic 171 responded to the scene. Medic 171 transported the female to the hospital. The patrollers gave witness statements to a Columbus Police Department Detective.

9-20-19

Patrollers came across an unresponsive female laying on the grass in Moeller Park. The patrollers awoke the female. The female began to growl and hiss at the patrollers. CPD was notified of the situation via 645-4545. CPD Cars 113, 112, and CFD Medic 14 responded to the scene. CFD Medic 14 transported the female to Grant Medical Center.

9-25-19

Patrollers reported hearing a loud argument coming from a residence in front of 1735 Parsons. CPD was notified of the situation via 645-4545. CPD Car 138 responded to the area, but was unable to make contact with either party. No further action was taken.
