Patrollers received information about a suspicious vehicle from a resident in the area of Martin and Rich. The resident advised that the vehicle has been parked in the area for several days. The patrollers were further advised that two-to-three people may be living inside the vehicle. The patrollers will monitor the vehicle and report the vehicle to CPD once further information is confirmed.
Patrollers assisted a merchant with removing an aggressive panhandler at a business in the area of Dakota and Broad.
Call of the Month
Patrollers witnessed an incident of domestic violence between a male and a female in the area of Broad and Dakota; CPD was notified of the situation via 645-4545. While awaiting the arrival of police, the male left the area. CPD Car 9081 arrived on the scene and spoke with the female at Dakota and Broad. CPD Car R-80 located the male in the area of Rodgers and Broad. The male fled from Car R-80. CPD Car 9081 left the area to assist responding officers in locating the male. A short time later, the male was taken into custody by CPD Cars R-80 and Car 9081. Responding officers all met at Dakota and Broad. The male was charged with obstruction and providing false information. The patrollers provided statements to CPD and will write a report detailing the incident.
