The CPD Walkie Crew, S-94, 9051, 9052, and 48 responded to the scene. The suspect resisted arrest. One of the responding officers had to use the tazer to subdue the struggling suspect. The Columbus Fire Department was contacted by CPD and Medic 13 responded to the scene and conducted a well-being check on the suspect. Wagon 48 transported the suspect to the Franklin County Correctional Facility.

Before the arrival of Net Care, another possibly intoxicated male approached the patrollers. The patrollers advised the male to stand by as Net Care was already en route. After over an hour of waiting on Net Care, the first male decided to walk to Mount Carmel Hospital. The patrollers escorted the male to Mount Carmel Hospital. The second male was picked up by a family member.
