Patrollers reported a fight involving five males in the area of 13th and High. CPD was notified. CPD Cars 43 and 9030 responded the scene. Ohio State University Police Department Cars 8, 12 and 35 responded to the scene. Columbus Police Department Medic 13 and Engine X7 responded to the scene. One of the males was transported to The Ohio State University Hospital.

Call of the Month

Patrollers reported an auto accident involving two vehicles in the area of 5th and Summit. One of the vehicles fled the scene; the victim contacted CPD via 911. The patrollers contacted 911 as well to make sure that medics were en route. Columbus Fire Department Chief 7, Engine 7, and Medic 7 responded to the scene. Medic 7 transported the victim to The Ohio State University Medical Center. The patrollers noticed a trail of liquid that could possibly lead them to the suspect vehicle. While investigating, the patrollers were approached by a witness who advised of a possible location. The patrollers located the vehicle in the area of 4th and N. Fourth. The patrollers advised CPD of the vehicle’s location.

Patrollers reported an audible alarm from a vacant structure at 401 S. Dana. CPD was notified of the situation. CPD Cars 82 and 81 responded to the scene. Responding officers searched the premises; no one was located on the property. No further action was taken.

Patrollers reported an open door on a structure in front of 48 Avondale. CPD was notified of the situation. CPD Cars 88 and 81 responded to the scene and searched the property. No one was located on the property. No further action was taken.

Patrollers reported an argument involving a male and a female in front of 199 S. Yale. CPD was notified of the situation via 645-4545. CPD Car 193 responded to the scene and diffused the argument. No further action was needed.

CPD Cars 132, R130, and Columbus Fire Department Engine 14 and CFD Medic 2 responded to the scene. The individual was placed under arrest for disorderly conduct.

Patrollers reported a suspicious individual loitering on private property in the area of Stewart and High. CPD was notified of the situation via 645-4545. CPD Car 113 responded to the scene and advised the individual to leave the area. The individual complied. No further action was needed.

Patrollers reported an unsecured occupied abandoned structure at 214 Frebis. CPD was notified via 645-4545. CPD Cars 123 and R1960 responded to the scene and searched the property. No one was located on the property.
