Patrollers reported an audible alarm in the rear of 1778 N. High; CPD Car 41 was notified of the situation. Car 9041 responded to the scene, checked the premises, but no one was located on the property. No further action was taken.

Patrollers reported a female vomiting in the area of 13th and High. CPD walkie crew arrived on the scene a moment later. CPD Car 9041 responded to the scene and provided care for the female. No further action was needed.

Call of the Month

Patrollers witnessed a male removing a rear light from a bicycle in the area of 12th and High. CPD was notified of the situation via 645-4545. CPD Cars 40 and 44 responded to the scene. Responding officers conducted a field interview and found drug paraphernalia on his person. The individual was given a summons.

Patrollers reported a structure with an open door at 2358 Summit; CPD was notified of the situation via 645-4545. CPD Cars 9031 and 32 responded to the scene, searched the structure, but found no one on the premises. No further action was taken.

Patrollers were approached by a merchant in the area of Dakota and Broad who advised that he had just caught a shoplifter. The shoplifter had returned items to the merchant, however the merchant requested that a CPD officer be called to the scene to determine if the individual had any other items on his person. The patrollers contacted CPD and monitored the individual as he left the business. Before the arrival of police, the patrollers lost visual contact of the individual and no further action could be taken.

Patrollers reported a suspicious male looking inside parked vehicles in the area of Reinhard and Jaeger. The patrollers monitored the individual and contacted CPD via 645-4545. Before the arrival of police, the individual left the area. Patrollers met with CPD Car 9071 and provided a description and last known direction of travel of the individual.

Patrollers reported three suspicious individuals loitering in front of 3911 Dresden. The patrollers monitored their activities and reported that the individuals left the area. No further action was taken.

Patrollers were standing with a special duty CPD officer in Genoa Park when they were approached by a female who advised she had just been physically assaulted. CPD Car 80 and Medic 10 responded to the scene. Medic 10 transported the female to Mount Carmel West Hospital.
