Patrollers were approached by an individual who advised that he was struck in the face by a tow truck driver in the area of Summit and Chittenden. CPD Car 41 was notified of the situation. Car 41 responded to the scene. No further action was taken.

Call of the Month

The CCP radio operator was approached at 248 E. 11th Avenue by a male who was requesting CPD assistance. The male advised that he had just been approached by two males with firearms in front of his residence at 2478 Forest Way. The male advised that he left the area quickly and made his way directly to 248 E. 11th Avenue for safety. CPD was notified of the situation via 645-4545. CPD Car 41 responded to the scene and took a report.

Patrollers were in the area of Colfax and Walford when they came across an unresponsive male sitting inside a running vehicle. CPD was notified of the situation via 645-4545. Columbus Fire Department Engine 24 and Medic 6 arrived on scene. The male was treated and left the area before the arrival of CPD Cars 9182 and 184. No further action was taken.
