Patrollers were approached by a male in front of 88 Schulz who advised that his vehicle had just been the victim of a hit and skip accident; CPD was notified of the situation via 645-4545. Patrollers took note of the suspect vehicle’s description and last known direction of travel.

Call of the Month

Patrollers were approached by a female in front of 984 W. Broad who requested medical attention. The female advised that her heart was beating too quickly and she was having trouble breathing. The Columbus Fire Department was notified of the situation via 911. CFD Medic 10 and CFD Engine 10 responded to the scene. Medic transported the female to Mount Carmel West Hospital.

5-13-16

Patrollers reported a fight involving two females in front of 890 Bellows. CPD Wagon 88 was flagged down and advised of the situation. CPD Wagon 88 diffused the situation. No further action was needed.

5-25-16

Patrollers reported two possibly intoxicated males walking in and out of traffic in the area of Yale and Sullivant. CPD was notified of the situation via 645-4545. CPD Cars 82 and 81 responded to the scene and talked with one of the males. No further action was needed.

5-27-16

Patrollers were notified of a shoplifting from a pedestrian in front of a business in the area of Dakota and Broad. CPD Car 9082 advised that he was en route to the location. The patrollers gave Car 9082 the suspect’s description and last known location. The suspect was never located. Car 9082 took a theft report. No further action could be taken.

Patrollers reported a structure with an open door and an alarm sounding at 400 W. Broad. CPD was notified of the situation via 645-4545. CPD Car K9-8 responded to the scene and searched the structure. No one was found on the premises. No further action was taken.

Patrollers were approached by a female in front of 3911 Dresden. who advised that a group of males attempted to sexually assault her. CPD was notified of the situation via 645-4545. CPD Car 185 responded to the scene and the patrollers provided a description of the suspects as well as last known location. Numerous CPD cars circulated the area searching for the suspects; the suspects were never located. No further action could be taken.
